Latest TUI, easyJet, Ryanair, BA and Jet2 travel advice as travel corridor list grows

TUI

TUI has been among the UK airlines cancelling routes to destinations on the quarantine list throughout the health crisis.
It previously cancelled all Spain, Canary Islands and Balearic Islands holidays when the nation was removed from the travel corridor list.
However, now the Canaries have been given the green light, TUI is set to restart holidays this weekend.

Flights from London to resorts in the Canary Islands start as low as £533 per person for seven days from Saturday 23 October. Similar deals are on offer from Manchester starting a £650 per person.

Currently, flights are only departing from London Gatwick, London Luton and Manchester, but TUI is set to add more options in the coming weeks.

TUI is currently only offering holidays to the following destinations: Cyprus,
Greece (some islands), Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Tenerife and the Maldives.

The brand has cancelled holidays to Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Bulgaria, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Cape Verde, some Greek islands, Italy, Malta, Mexico, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, USA and Vietnam.

easyJet

easyJet has also cancelled some holidays to mirror quarantine changes. Last week the company announced all easyJet holidays to Italy were cancelled after the country was removed from the ‘safe’ list.

While easyJet still operates flight to countries not on the list, such as Turkey, France and Poland, it has axed a number of easyJet holidays.
For instance, France and Spain package holidays were axed over the summer after the two nations were added to the quarantine list. These are set to restart next month.
Following the addition of the Canary Islands to the travel corridor list, easyJet has put more flights on sale, launched new routes and resumed holidays to the Canary Islands – there are now 180,000 extra seats available to book from today from just £22.99.

easyJet is also launching five new routes to from Edinburgh to Lanzarote and Fuerteventura; from Glasgow to Tenerife and Gran Canaria; and Belfast to Tenerife, with flights taking off from November 7.

British Airways

BA has not cancelled any flights as a result of changes to the travel corridor list.

However, the airline is keeping its network under constant review.

British Airways recently extended its flexible change policy to cover all customers to travel until October 31, 2020.

British Airways has also increased the number of destinations it serves.

Jet2

Jet2 have been repeatedly quick to axe flights and holidays to quarantine countries.
Yesterday, the company announced flights and holidays to the Canary Islands will restart from October 30 onwards.
Jet2 will resume flights to Tenerife (commencing from October 30) as well as Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura (all starting from November 1 onwards) from all nine of its UK bases (Belfast International, Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and London Stansted).

Jet2 has previously cancelled all flights to mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands, Croatia, Turkey, France, Hungary and the Czech Republic. These routes are currently set to re-start in November.

Jet2 still operates flights to Cyprus, Greece and Madeira.

Ryanair

Ryanair is continuing to operate its UK flights as scheduled.
The airline has said previously that it would continue to fly to destinations that are included on the quarantine list.
However, customers should expect a reduced capacity. Throughout October, the airline is operating at 40 percent of its usual capacity.

Ryanair has also recently extended its change fee waiver up until December meaning that customers can transfer flights and change destinations for free.
