Location
Located directly on the Kuala Lumpur Airport grounds, this is a good spot for business travellers. (the rooms all have noise cancelling properties so the planes did not distract us from a peaceful sleep)

This hotel offers all the amenities you would expect from a 5* hotel. It has a luxurious feel to it and we definitely recommend staying here if you are in Kuala Lumpur on business.
The hotel has a great outdoor pool which we spent a day in. Other amenities include:

Value For Money
Rooms prices are from around £80 a night which offer good value for money. The hotel has a luxury feel and definitely seems like a good 5*.
Service / Staff
The Staff / Service at this hotel are good. All staff have a smile and are available for any queries without hesitation. The food on offer was good as were the restaurant staff.
Lastly – Would we go back
Yes, strategically located on the Airport grounds, this hotel offers good value for money and a touch of class.

Not great Value for Money
Location
Located directly opposite World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur, the 5-star Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur is in the heart of the diamond triangle. The hotel is linked to the Sunway Putra Mall. Guests can find a host of retail and entertainment experiences and it is also home to one of the largest dining options with over 80 renowned food and beverage outlets, specialty restaurants and a lively food emporium atmosphere.

Value For Money
We paid £850 for an 8 night stay in a standard room. We had to pay an extra £500 to upgrade upon checking in so we could have a room with a balcony. (The hotel is non-smoking so if you are a smoker, you need to have a room with a balcony)
There are many other options in KL so this wouldn’t be a hotel we stay at again. For the price we paid for a smoking option, we could have got a better deal elsewhere. (We paid £1350 for 8 nights)
Service / Staff
The Staff / Service at this hotel is average. Nothing stood out as exceptional. Staff were friendly enough but nobody seemed to go out of their way to offer a great service.
Lastly – Would we go back
Probably not. There are better hotels in Kuala Lumpur for the money.
